Meghan Markle employee breaks silence on bullying allegations

In 2021, Queen Elizabeth II appointed an independent investigator to investigate Claims of bullying made by members of Meghan Markle’s staff,

At the time, many dismissed the investigation as a clever method of counter-programming by the royals:

These allegations were made public a few days ago Meghan and Prince Harry sit down for their explosive interview with Oprah,

Sussex supporters immediately accused the royal family of changing the story and avoiding criticism of Harry and Meghan.

Meghan Markle’s bullying investigation: Legit or ridiculous?

Meghan’s lawyers called the investigation a “deliberate smear campaign.”

But royal defenders argued that the timing of the claims was merely coincidental, and demanded that the allegations be taken seriously.

The results of the investigation were mostly kept private.

“The review has been completed and recommendations have been put forward on our policies and procedures,” Queen’s Treasurer Michael Stevens said during a briefing at the time. New York Post,

“But we will not comment further.”

Three years later, the case has been mostly forgotten. or at least this WasUntil Meghan’s former private secretary, Samantha Cohen, broke her silence earlier this week.

Meghan’s former secretary speaks out

Speaking to an Australian newspaper herald sunCohen revealed that the royals’ inability to find a suitable replacement secretary for Meghan forced her to remain in her role longer than expected.

“I was only supposed to stay for six months, but I stayed for 18 months – we couldn’t find a replacement for me, and when we did, we took them on a tour of Africa with Harry and Meghan to show them, But they (left) Africa even while they were there,” Cohen said.

The comments are somewhat mysterious, but certainly, the anti-Meghan contingent of the British tabloid press has decided to take Cohen’s comment as evidence that the Duchess of Sussex is impossible to work with.

Cohen was similarly vague on the subject of the late queen, claiming Elizabeth had “no ego” yet “felt good when things went wrong.”

We may never know what Cohen meant by that statement, but there are certainly a lot going wrong within the royal family these days.

Meghan and Harry are still feuding with Kate Middleton and Prince WilliamAnd recent family crises appear to have resulted in no ceasefire, as some observers had hoped would happen.

The Sussexes have yet to comment on Cohen’s claims, and they will likely continue to remain silent.

But you can be sure that Meghan’s harshest critics will have a field day with this new interest in one of the darkest chapters of her career.
