Many already knew what they wanted, including Belle who tells 9Honey she had her eye on the quarter zip pullover and tour hoodie.

“I really love Taylor Swift. She’s my favorite person on the entire planet and I really wanted her stuff,” she tells 9Honey.

Swifties were ready to spend big at the book-out store, with Grace Karastamatis splurging on over $900 worth of merchandise — but it wasn’t all about her.

“I got some hoodies for me and my girlfriend, some t-shirts, a jumper for my coworker, two posters and a tote bag.

“I made it available online a few days ago and we had the list ready.

She is off to Saturday’s show saying she “couldn’t even breathe just thinking about it”.

The overall consensus was quite positive, with fans relieved to get the goods.

“We basically bought a collection of almost everything,” said Olivia Licciardi.

”She’s one of the most talented people of our era, not only her singing but her lyrics and she writes everything herself.”

Securing tickets for the Eras Tour has been a difficult task for many, with over four million fans attempting to secure tickets when they first went on sale.

Less than half of them actually managed to secure seats at the concerts at Accor Stadium and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), leaving millions disappointed.

Kiara and Ruby were among those who missed out on tickets, but that didn’t stop them from attending the sale today.

Kiara, 10, said, “I got a beige T-shirt and a jumper. I like Taylor Swift and I like her music.”

Not everyone in line was a Swiftie, with Hayden Pinder getting in line early to buy the stuff for his wife — a die-hard fan who couldn’t attend in person.

“I know the shapes and I know the styles — I have a list and a plan,” he said.

“I haven’t heard anything about Taylor Swift in six months and that was before I got my tickets.

“She’s very excited and she’s been working on her outfit at home and she has 80 bracelets at home, so it’s going to be big for her this week and she’s very excited.

Hayden Pinder made sure he had a game plan. (nine)
