Kanye West, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian were all in the same building Sunday night.
But thankfully, no one was hurt — unless you count San Francisco 49ers linebacker Drake Greenlaw, who somehow tore his Achilles tendon running on the field.
Yes, as you’ve undoubtedly heard by now, the Kansas City Chiefs won their third Super Bowl in five years on Sunday night, an accomplishment that has angered some far-right conspiracists.
But leaving those aside, we are here to talk about how Kanye participated in the game without any incident.
Which was surprising, because his ex-wife and his archenemy were also in the building!
As usual, Kanye arrived dressed in all black and covering his face with an Alexander McQueen mask that probably cost more than your car.
But thankfully, there were no nasty confrontations at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last night (unless you count the awkward moment when Travis Kelce yelled at Chiefs coach Andy Reid).
Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian watch Super Bowl from different sections
Looks like Kanye, Taylor and Kim didn’t see each other at Super Bowl LVIII.
It makes sense, as Vegas’ premiere sports venue is set to create a comfortable environment for celebrities, high rollers and other wealthy guests who want to take in the game without being forced to mingle with farmers .
That’s a good thing, because there could have been some serious weirdness going on.
Kim was there with her new boyfriend Odell Beckham Jr., and knowing Kanye’s temper, it was probably best if the couple didn’t meet him.
Kanye West and Taylor Swift: Still feuding?
And then there’s Taylor, who has endured Kanye’s bullying and harassment for over a decade.
This was back in 2009 when Ye snatched the mic from Taylor during her VMAs acceptance speech and rudely informed the audience that Beyoncé should have won.
The beef continued into 2016, when Kanye rapped Taylor “I made that b-titch famous.”
When fans were outraged, Ye’s then-wife Kim posted a video, which she claimed was proof that West had cleared the song’s lyrics with Taylor before releasing the song.
“I’m really glad you did me the honor of calling and telling you about the song as a friend. Taylor can be heard saying in a phone conversation with Kanye.
However, Taylor later clarified that she was not aware that Kanye would refer to her as “B-titch” in the song.
Kanye continued the excitement this week when he released a new song called “Carnival,” in which he raps, “I made six Taylor Swifts.”
This line appears to be Kanye’s way of once again taking credit for Taylor’s career.
Kanye’s friend-turned-rival Jay Z was also in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII, but it looks like the former collaborators didn’t meet each other.
It’s a good thing that nowadays he has got into the habit of wearing a mask whenever he goes out in public places because this guy has made a lot of enemies!
