JEE Main 2024 result has been released by NTA. NTA JEE Main 2024 Session 1 toppers have also been announced. This year, 23 applicants have achieved perfect 100 percentile in Session 1. Applicants wishing to get a seat in one of the IITs will have to appear for the second level of entrance examination i.e. IIT JEE Advanced 2024.

IIT Madras will conduct the IIT JEE Advanced exam on May 26 and JEE Advanced registration will start from April 21. Registrations will remain open till April 30. JEE Advanced 2024 results will be declared on June 9 and JoSAA counseling for IITs, NITs. , IIIT and CFTI admissions will start from June 10.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Result: Insights

This time 23 students have reached 100 percentile, but there is no female candidate with perfect score. Among the state toppers, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from Gujarat got the best position with an NTA score of 99.99.

Telangana has the highest number of 100 percentiles (7), followed by Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan with three 100 percentiles each. Delhi and Haryana have two 100 percentiles each, and Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka have one each.

This year, NTA conducted the first session of JEE Main 2024 from January 24 to February 1, in which 11,70,036 students appeared for JEE Main Paper 1 out of 12,21,615 students who enrolled for it.

To guarantee fairness in evaluating the results of JEE Main 2024, the National Testing Agency will use a cycle called normalization. Since testing took place over multiple days and sessions, it guaranteed that applicants would face comparable difficulty levels. The normalization cycle guarantees that no student will receive an unfair advantage or handicap. NTA will rank the students based on their percentage score, which will be calculated using a predetermined formula.

JEE Mains Result 2024: Exam Venue

The exam was also conducted in 21 cities outside India – Manama, Lagos/Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Moscow, Ottawa, Port Louis, Bangkok, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur , and Washington D.C.

This examination was also conducted for the first time in the cities of Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and Oslo.

JEE Mains Result 2024: Reservation

• Persons with Disabilities (PWD) – 5% seats in each General, General-EWS, OBCNCL, SC and ST category seats.

• Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% seats in each course.

• Scheduled Tribe (ST)- 7.5% seats in each course.

• Students with at least 40% disability, regardless of disability type, will be eligible for PWD category benefits.

What is JEE Mains?
