The friendship between Jane Shah and her jail friend Elizabeth Holmes has now come to the fore.
Last year the world heard that Jen Shah was teaching Elizabeth Holmes an ab workout in prison.
Jokes about dodgy-to-dodgy friendships immediately began to emerge. But not everyone was convinced that the two were actually hanging out.
No doubt now. Shah and Holmes appear jail friendsand there is Pictures to prove it.
Elizabeth Holmes and Jane Shah seem to be best friends in prison
As we’ve previously reported, disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and real housewives of salt lake city Former student Jane Shah is serving a prison sentence in the same facility.
On Sunday, February 4, The Daily Mail reported that Shah and Holmes were talking openlyIn a friendly manner.
It was just before the appointment time. Holmes was expecting her husband, parents and two young children to celebrate her 40th birthday.
Jane Shah is serving a six-year prison sentence. Elizabeth Holmes’s sentence is 11 years.
There are many similarities between the two. Both are mothers, both are rapacious fraudsters, and both were famous before their crimes came to light.
Apparently, all this – and perhaps even more – has been the foundation of their family friendship.
Jen Shah and Elizabeth Holmes have both suffered major falls
Apart from other things in common, both the Shah and Holmes were wealthy. (That situation is firmly in the past for Holmes, whose current net worth is estimated at zero dollars,
Now that they are both serving their sentences at Camp Bryan, the federal prison in Texas, their lifestyle has declined.
The women now share four-person rooms with other inmates, sleeping in bunk beds. They live in a dehumanizing environment where almost every aspect of their lives is no longer under their control.
Notoriously, Shah defrauded thousands of people – mainly the elderly – through a sinister telemarketing scam.
After reporting in February 2023, she remained in jail for almost a year. Shah ultimately entered a guilty plea.
The Shah would have to pay $6,500,000 and surrender dozens of luxury items. By extension, they were ill-gotten gains.
Elizabeth Holmes’s fraud was an even bigger enterprise
Holmes’ company, Theranos, made false claims to investors. His blood-testing machine didn’t actually work, and it was an elaborate fraud that at one time cost him his net worth, estimated to be in the billions.
One could argue that defrauding wealthy investors is a victimless crime. but it is No A hustle anyone can respect.
Theranos’ big product was a faulty blood test. Cancer patients, HIV patients, people who received false positives, and more – they all suffered needlessly as part of an elaborate fraud.
In jail, Jen Shah is reportedly making herself a role model and fitness instructor for her fellow inmates.
She has workout classes. Reportedly, Holmes attends these sessions regularly.
Shah is probably keeping herself busy. Or perhaps she’s hoping her good behavior behind bars will pay off.
We have to emphasize that everything we’ve heard about Jane Shah in jail has come through her representative. It is never a neutral party.
It is possible that Shah’s non-wealthy, non-famous cellmates may provide a different account of his activities. We don’t know, because they don’t have representatives to speak for.
