Atlanta was recently filled with #BlackGirlMagic during a fun summit focused on being a safe space for young Black women, girls, and gender-expansive youth.
The 2023 ESSENCE Girls United Disruptor Summit returns to Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, November 11 to celebrate all aspects of the Black experience focused on Millennials and shine a light on those who are working to break the mold.
A press release notes that Rachel Dennis (co-founder and head of Girls United) kicked off the festivities by welcoming summit attendees before passing the mic to host Rachel Jackson, who led a panel between the sister-duo Featuring an impressive lineup of talent including discussion. Jordan and Jody Woods.

The event also included popular stage performances by internet sensation Aliyah Interlude, comedian Yung BBQ and celebrity music engineer Brandra Ringo and featured performances by Kenyatta Victoria, Marley Dias, Camryn Brown, J. Dynamic programming moments such as “On Strike” were offered by McDonald with Simon.
