Sean “Diddy” Combs was accused in a lawsuit Thursday of keeping ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in an abusive relationship for years that included multiple beatings and sexual assault.
The singer filed the legal complaint in New York, alleging in the document that she was trapped in a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking,” including a 2018 rape after she tried to leave Mogul.
She also claims that Diddy committed acts of domestic violence against her.

“After years of living in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story and speak out on my own behalf and for the benefit of other women who experience violence and abuse in their relationships,” Cassie said in a statement. Are.”
“With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act rapidly approaching, it became clear that this was the opportunity to speak about the trauma I have experienced and from which I will heal throughout my life.”
In the lawsuit, Cassie says Diddy lured her into his “showy, fast-paced, and drug-filled lifestyle” between the time she met him and when she was 19 (and he was 37 ) was then signed to her label. 2005.
In 2007, Cassie stated in the complaint that she agreed to go on a date with Diddy out of fear of retaliation if she said otherwise.


“All aspects of Ms. Ventura’s life were controlled by either Mr. Combs or his management companies,” the lawsuit reads.
Combs reportedly frequently displayed “uncontrollable anger” and “often brutally beat Ms. Ventura”, claiming the violence was witnessed by several people he employed.
She says she will keep him hidden in a hotel until his injuries heal.
Ventura also claims that Diddy would often force him to participate in encounters with sex workers he called “freak offs” or “FOs” and that the encounters “always” included ecstasy, cocaine, GHB, ketamine, marijuana and Alcohol was involved.
The artiste alleges that she would sometimes vomit before the encounter due to anxiety.

However, a year earlier, Ventura claims she tried to end the relationship – and that’s when he raped her.
“Ventura has now completely escaped Mr. Combs, but the damage caused by the assaults and sexual abuse he endured over nearly a decade will forever haunt her,” the MS. complaint states.
“She requires intensive medical and psychological care to recover from the trauma she has gone through.”


In a statement, Diddy’s attorney Ben Brafman denied the allegations, which he called “outrageous and outrageous”, and said:
“Mr. Combs vigorously denies these offensive and defamatory allegations. Ms. Ventura’s demand for $30 million under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship was rejected as clear blackmail.
“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit filled with baseless and outrageous lies aimed at tarnishing Mr. Combs’s reputation and demanding a pay day.”


Diddy is known for his music production and clothing line, Sean John, as well as his accomplished rap career.
