Bitch Does anyone really believe Middleton still has the money to waste?

This week, The Times of London reports exclusively on Carole and Michael Middleton’s party pieces. PP was sold for £180,000 in May last year as the business sank into debt, reportedly more than £2.5 million, all told. James Sinclair bought Party Pieces without incurring any of its loans, so now Middleton has left dozens of angry and shocked short sellers, not to mention all the banks whose loans will never be repaid. The sale of party pieces was arranged by Interpath Advisory. The news this week is that Carole and Michael Middleton are too fed up to cover Interpath’s fee, reportedly £260,000. Here is the Mirror’s coverage, which is similar to the Times’s coverage.

It has been reported that Carole and Michael Middleton are unable to pay the £260,000 fees owed to the bankrupt firm following the collapse of their business. Party Pieces was run by the Princess of Wales’s parents but it went into administration last year due to debts of £2.6million to creditors. Interpath Advisory (IA), a city company that was appointed to handle the bankruptcy, is reportedly unable to cover all repayment costs.

It is believed that the insolvency process is taking longer than expected to satisfy statutory requirements and queries from creditors. While the firm has received fees of £51,437 and expects to receive more over time, it has determined that it will not be able to cover the total amount of expenses incurred, it is claimed.

The Mirror has contacted the IA regarding the claims, which were originally reported in The Times. It also states that Party Pieces was founded by Carole and Michael Middleton in 1987, seven years after their marriage. Since then, it faced financial difficulties during the pandemic and eventually fell into administration. According to the Times, the business was sold via pre-pack administration last year for £180,000 to entrepreneur James Sinclair, leaving Interpath Advisory with limited funds to meet obligations to creditors.

At the time of this writing, Mirror, tatler, Express and Daily Record have all supported the Times report. The Daily Mail has not. Even the Sun doesn’t have it. I find this remarkable. I wanted to talk about this again because some people online were arguing about my statement that Carroll is too bankrupt to pay Interpath. The argument is that, Carol and Michael have squandered the money, that their personal finances do not equate to the bankruptcy of the Party Pieces. I mean, I understand that concept, that the bankruptcy of Party Pieces doesn’t mean that Carol and Michael are broke. But my point is: If they had the money to change the story or mitigate the damage, wouldn’t they have done so? This is months and months of reporting about how Carroll personally harassed vendors and how she personally requested credit and how she brought in Interpath to restructure and advise. He left behind a trail of financial destruction and wasted years of lies and social climbing. She couldn’t even show her face at Wimbledon last year and has been mostly invisible since the coronation. Do you really think he would have done all this if he had secretly deposited several millions in an offshore account? Not me. What’s more credible: that she secretly squandered a lot of money, or that Middleton’s success was always a big lie?
