Real talk: Usher is one of the sexiest men on the planet.
This would be the case whether he was shirtless, sweaty, and flailing around on stage in front of an audience of a hundred million – or if he was sitting down, fully clothed, stuffing pizza in his face.
Sunday night in Las Vegas, it was the former.
As you may know by now, Usher performed at halftime of Super Bowl LVIII and, according to our unofficial account, the singer got most of the female attendees pregnant through his appearance.
The artist took off her clothes, went roller skating and moved her body in ways scientists didn’t previously think were possible.
He also invited Alicia Keys on stage for an up close and very personal scene.
The ridiculously talented singer accompanied Usher on stage to sing two of her songs (“Ain’t Got You” and “My Boo”), starting at the piano but ultimately ending in Usher’s arms.
There was clear chemistry between the stars, as you can see for yourself in the photos below:
Following the incredible performance, many social media users jumped online to speculate what Keys might have been thinking during the duet.
For example, one person wrote, “I know Alicia got butterflies when Usher hugged her from behind.”
Such comments prompted others to ask two questions:
First of all, what would Alicia Keys’ husband think about this collaboration?
two, just who Is Alicia Keys’s husband?!?
Keys is married to music producer Swizz Beatz,
They exchanged vows on July 31, 2010, and welcomed their first child, a son named Egypt Daoud Deen, in October 2010.
Their second son, Genesis Ali Dean, was born in 2014.
The spouses were friends before they were together, Keys wrote years ago in her memoir:
“The more we talked, the more I saw how his mind worked. There was depth beyond the baggy jeans and arm tats. “He was very aware of what was happening around the world.”
So… what did Swizz Beatz think about his wife totally hooking up with Usher at the Super Bowl?
She thought it was great – because he was super secure and very supportive.
“You’re all talking about the wrong thing!!! Y’all haven’t seen that amazing dress that covered the entire stadium,” the proud husband wrote on Instagram Sunday night, including several photos of Alicia Keys on stage along with his message.
Setting an exemplary example for men everywhere, he concluded:
Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with two amazing legends! Congratulations to @Usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic.
We don’t talk negative on this side, we make history,
